Restaurant Ranking and Data Methodology
Restaurant profiles are created from public restaurant information, submitted updates, and editorial review. Every source-backed field should store the source URL, source type, date accessed, reliability level, and fields supported.
A verified source can include a restaurant-owned website, official menu page, reservation page, submitted owner update, public business profile, tourism listing, or editorial verification note. Review excerpts are displayed only where rights and attribution are documented.
The site does not rank restaurants unless enough comparable data exists. Ranking states include no list yet, alphabetical source-backed directory, recently checked profiles, editorial shortlist, public-source signal sort, sponsored section, and fully ranked guide.
Sponsored placement does not mean a restaurant is the best in a category. Sponsored, featured, and claimed placements must be labelled clearly.
Review excerpts and ratings are displayed only where permitted, attributed, submitted with permission, or available through compliant source use. The site does not publish copied review content without appropriate rights, attribution, or source documentation.
The site uses original AI-generated art because copied restaurant photos create rights risk and inconsistent visuals. AI art is labelled as illustrative rather than photographic.
